Replacement Policy

This Replacement Policy (“Policy”) applies to all products purchased from Furniture by Piroji, a brand operated by Piroji Furniture Pvt. Ltd. By placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms outlined below.

  1. Replacement Eligibility

Replacement shall be provided only if the product is damaged at the factory or has a manufacturing defect, and verified at the time of unboxing.

Replacements are strictly applicable only under the following conditions:

  • Product is damaged before dispatch (factory damage)
  • Product has a manufacturing defect confirmed by inspection
  • Customer receives an incorrect product

No replacements will be provided for damage occurring after delivery, during handling, or during assembly.

  1. Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement
  • A continuous, unedited unboxing video is compulsory for all replacement claims.
  • The video must clearly show:
    • The sealed package before opening
    • The entire unboxing process without cuts or pauses
    • The visible damage or defect, if any
  • The unboxing video serves as primary and mandatory evidence.
  • Replacement requests without a valid unboxing video will be rejected without exception.
  1. Reporting Timeline
  • Replacement requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
  • Requests submitted after this period will not be considered.
  1. Product Condition for Replacement

To be eligible for replacement:

  • Product must be unused, unassembled, and uninstalled
  • Product must be in original condition with complete packaging
  • Product must not be assembled, repaired, or altered in any manner

Important: As per the Assembly & Installation Policy, once a product is assembled, it is deemed accepted in good condition and becomes ineligible for replacement.

  1. Exclusions – Replacement Not Applicable If

Replacement shall not be provided if:

  • Damage occurs during or after assembly by the customer or a local carpenter
  • Damage results from handling, relocation, drilling, modification, or misuse
  • Product is exposed to water, moisture, heat, sunlight, or chemicals
  • Natural wood characteristics such as grain variations, knots, minor cracks, or color differences
  • Unevenness up to 5 mm due to floor or surface irregularities
  • Claim is raised without unboxing video or beyond the eligibility window
  1. Replacement Process
  • All replacement requests are subject to inspection and approval by Furniture by Piroji.
  • Upon approval:
    • The defective product or part will be replaced at the Company’s discretion
    • Replacement may be partial or complete, depending on the issue
  • Replacement timelines may vary based on product availability and location.
  1. Replacement vs Refund
  • Replacement shall be the primary resolution for eligible cases.
  • Refunds shall be considered only if replacement is not feasible, at the sole discretion of Furniture by Piroji.
  1. Logistics & Handling
  • Replacement products will be shipped using standard delivery timelines.
  • Customers must ensure availability and proper access for pickup or replacement delivery.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • Furniture by Piroji’s liability under this policy shall be limited to replacement of the defective product or part only.
  • No compensation shall be provided for inconvenience, labor cost, or delays.
  1. Policy Amendments
  • Furniture by Piroji reserves the right to modify or update this Replacement Policy at any time without prior notice.
  • The policy applicable at the time of purchase shall govern the replacement request.
