Commercial / Hotel Warranty Policy

This Commercial / Hotel Warranty Policy (“Policy”) governs all furniture products purchased from Furniture by Piroji, a brand operated by Piroji Furniture Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”), for commercial, hospitality, institutional, rental, or non-residential use. By placing a commercial order, the buyer (“Client”) agrees to the terms stated below.

  1. Warranty Coverage Period

1.1 Furniture supplied for commercial, hotel, resort, office, café, restaurant, institutional, or rental use carries a limited warranty of up to 12 months, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.2 The warranty period commences from the date of delivery or installation, whichever is earlier.

1.3 Extended or project-specific warranty may be offered only through a separate written agreement or purchase contract.

  1. Scope of Warranty Coverage

2.1 The warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship-related failures under normal commercial usage conditions.

2.2 Coverage is limited strictly to:

  • Structural integrity of the furniture frame
  • Manufacturing-related joinery failures
  • Defects in material supplied by the Company affecting functionality

2.3 The warranty does not guarantee resistance to heavy wear, misuse, vandalism, or continuous high-traffic usage typical in commercial environments.

  1. Exclusions & Non-Covered Items

The warranty does not cover:

3.1 Usage & Wear

  • Normal wear and tear resulting from high-frequency use
  • Upholstery fabric wear, foam compression, stitching issues, or fading
  • Scratches, dents, chips, stains, or surface abrasion

3.2 Environmental & Operational Factors

  • Damage caused by moisture, humidity, water exposure, cleaning chemicals, or spills
  • Exposure to direct sunlight, heat sources, or outdoor conditions
  • Pest infestation, termites, or rodents

3.3 Handling, Installation & Maintenance

  • Damage caused during or after installation by third-party contractors
  • Improper handling, relocation, stacking, or storage
  • Lack of routine maintenance or use of unsuitable cleaning methods

3.4 Natural Material Characteristics

  • Seasonal expansion or contraction of wood
  • Natural variations in grain, knots, shade, or texture
  • Hairline cracks due to climatic conditions
  1. Upholstery & Finish Disclaimer
  • Upholstery fabric, cushioning, polish, paint, laminates, or surface finishes are excluded from long-term warranty, except for manufacturing defects reported at delivery.
  • Color and texture variations between samples, images, and delivered products are not considered defects.
  1. Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty shall become null and void if:

  • Products are altered, modified, or repaired without authorization
  • Furniture is used outdoors unless specifically designed for outdoor use
  • Improper installation or leveling is observed
  • Safety instructions or load limits are ignored
  1. Claim Procedure

6.1 All warranty claims must be submitted in writing to support@piroji.com within the warranty period.

6.2 Claims must include:

  • Copy of commercial invoice or contract
  • Product details and delivery reference
  • Clear images or videos showing the defect
  • Description of usage environment

6.3 The Company reserves the right to inspect the product on-site or remotely before approving the claim.

  1. Resolution Method

7.1 Upon approval, the Company may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective component
  • Replace the defective part
  • Offer partial replacement

7.2 Replacement or repair does not extend or renew the original warranty period.

  1. Cost Allocation
  • All logistics, dismantling, reinstallation, and labor costs shall be borne by the Client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Emergency or expedited services, if requested, may incur additional charges.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • The Company’s total liability under this policy shall not exceed the original invoice value of the defective product.
  • The Company shall not be liable for business interruption, loss of revenue, or indirect damages.
  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
  • This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
  • All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Rajasthan, India.
  1. Policy Amendments
  • Furniture by Piroji reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
  • The policy applicable at the time of order confirmation shall govern the warranty claim.
