Our Policies
This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made from Furniture by Piroji, a brand operated by Piroji Furniture Pvt. Ltd. By placing an order on our website, the customer confirms acceptance of the terms stated below.
- Return Eligibility Period
- Customers may request a return within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery.
- Requests raised after the 7-day window will not be eligible for return or refund under any circumstances.
- Acceptable Reasons for Return
Returns are accepted only in the following cases:
- Product is damaged during transit
- Product has a manufacturing defect
- Customer receives a wrong or incorrect product
- Product has a major structural or manufacturing quality issue affecting its intended use
Important: Natural variations in solid wood (such as grain patterns, knots, minor color or texture differences) are inherent characteristics of wooden furniture and do not qualify as defects or damage.
- Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement
- An unboxing video is mandatory and compulsory for all claims related to damage, defect, or incorrect product delivery.
- The video must:
- Clearly show the sealed package before opening
- Capture the entire unboxing process without cuts or pauses
- Clearly display the product condition and the issue observed, if any
- The unboxing video acts as primary evidence to verify transit damage or incorrect delivery.
- Claims without a valid unboxing video or with edited/incomplete footage may be rejected.
Note: The unboxing video protects both the customer and Furniture by Piroji by ensuring transparent and fair claim resolution.
- Reporting Timeline & Supporting Proof
- All issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Customers may be asked to share clear photographs in addition to the unboxing video for verification purposes.
- Claims reported beyond this period will not be accepted.
- Product Condition for Return
To qualify for return:
- Product must be unused, unassembled, and uninstalled
- Product must be returned in original condition
- All original packaging, accessories, labels, manuals, and invoice must be included
Products showing signs of use, modification, polishing, drilling, or improper handling will be rejected.
- Return Approval & Reverse Pickup
- All return requests are subject to inspection and approval by Furniture by Piroji.
- Upon approval, a reverse pickup will be arranged where serviceable.
- In non-serviceable areas, customers may be required to assist with logistics as per courier partner guidelines.
- Refund Method & Timeline
- Refunds will be initiated only after the returned product is received and successfully inspected.
- Refunds will be processed within 7 working days from approval.
- Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment only.
- Processing time may vary depending on bank or payment gateway policies.
- Cases Where Return or Refund Will NOT Be Provided
Returns or refunds shall not be applicable if:
- Damage occurs during or after assembly by a local carpenter or third-party technician
- Product is used, altered, or assembled
- Product is returned without original packaging or documentation
- Damage results from misuse, negligence, or improper installation
- Product is custom-made or made-to-order, unless received damaged or defective
- Claim is raised after the 7-day eligibility period
- Replacement vs Refund
- Depending on the nature of the issue and product availability, replacement may be offered instead of a refund.
- The final decision regarding replacement or refund shall rest solely with Furniture by Piroji.
- GST & Invoice Adjustment
- Refunds shall be processed in compliance with GST regulations and adjusted against the original invoice.
- Limitation of Liability
- Furniture by Piroji’s liability shall be limited to the value of the product purchased.
- The company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
- Policy Updates
- Furniture by Piroji reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
- The policy applicable at the time of purchase shall govern the claim.
