Warranty Policy
Our Policies
This Warranty Policy (“Policy”) governs the warranty coverage offered by Furniture by Piroji, a brand operated by Piroji Furniture Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”). By purchasing or using any product sold by the Company, the customer (“Purchaser”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set forth herein.
- Warranty Period & Scope
1.1 All eligible products carry a 36-month limited warranty commencing from the date of successful delivery to the Purchaser.
1.2 The warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and workmanship-related issues arising under normal residential indoor usage.
1.3 The warranty is limited to the structural integrity and functional performance of the product and does not constitute a guarantee against aesthetic changes inherent to natural materials.
- What Is Covered
Subject to verification and inspection, the warranty covers:
- Structural defects caused by faulty manufacturing
- Joinery failure due to workmanship defects
- Defects in solid wood components affecting intended usage
- Manufacturing-related hardware or fitting failures (where supplied by the Company)
- Explicit Warranty Exclusions
The following are strictly excluded from warranty coverage:
3.1 Natural Material Characteristics
- Seasonal expansion, contraction, or minor warping of wood
- Natural variations in grain pattern, knots, color shade, or texture
- Hairline cracks developed due to climatic or humidity changes
These are inherent characteristics of solid wood and are not defects.
3.2 Wear, Tear & Usage-Related Issues
- Normal wear and tear from regular household use
- Minor scratches, dents, chips, or surface marks
- Upholstery fabric wear, pilling, tearing, or color fading due to sunlight exposure
- Cushion softening over time due to regular usage
3.3 Environmental & External Factors
- Damage due to water, moisture, dampness, humidity, or liquid spillage
- Exposure to direct sunlight, heat sources, or chemicals
- Pest infestation, termites, or insects
3.4 Installation, Handling & Third-Party Intervention
- Damage caused during or after self-assembly or third-party carpenter installation
- Improper handling, dragging, lifting, or relocation
- Modifications, drilling, repainting, refinishing, or unauthorized repairs
3.5 Surface & Placement Variations
- Unevenness up to 5 mm due to floor or surface irregularities
- Misalignment caused by uneven flooring or improper leveling
- Upholstery, Polish & Finish Disclaimer
- Upholstery fabric, foam softness, and surface polish are not covered under long-term warranty, except for manufacturing defects identified at the time of delivery.
- Color variation between product images and actual product may occur due to lighting, display settings, or material properties and does not qualify as a defect.
- Commercial & Non-Residential Usage
- This warranty is valid only for residential use.
- Products used in commercial spaces, hotels, hostels, offices, cafés, rentals, or institutional environments are excluded unless a separate written warranty agreement exists.
- Warranty Void Conditions
The warranty shall become null and void if:
- The product is relocated or reassembled improperly
- Repairs are attempted by unauthorized persons
- The product is altered, misused, or neglected
- Assembly is performed without prior inspection for defects
- Warranty Claim Procedure
7.1 Warranty claims must be raised via email at support@piroji.com within the warranty period.
7.2 The Purchaser must provide:
- Original invoice or proof of purchase
- Product images/videos clearly showing the defect
- A detailed description of the issue
7.3 The Company reserves the right to request additional documentation, conduct remote inspection, or arrange physical inspection where feasible.
- Resolution Method
8.1 Upon approval, the Company may, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective component
- Replace the defective part or product
- Provide a partial replacement
8.2 Cosmetic or aesthetic corrections may be denied if the product remains functionally sound.
- Service Costs & Logistics
- Transportation, dismantling, reinstallation, or re-assembly costs (if any) shall be borne by the Purchaser unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Replacement parts may differ slightly in shade or grain due to natural material characteristics.
- Limitation of Liability
- The Company’s maximum liability under this warranty shall be limited to the original invoice value of the product.
- The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including inconvenience or loss of use.
- Legal Jurisdiction
- This Warranty Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Rajasthan, India.
- Policy Amendments
- Furniture by Piroji reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice.
- The policy in force at the time of purchase shall govern the warranty claim.
